Flying is a skill — and like all skills, it needs regular refinement. Our Flight Reviews are designed to ensure you're not only meeting CASA’s recency requirements, but also flying safely, confidently, and competently.
Want to Keep Your Licence Recent?
A Flight Review is required every two years to maintain your flight privileges under CASA regulations. At Adelaide Aviation, we offer reviews that go beyond the minimum — giving you meaningful feedback and the chance to strengthen your skills along the way.
What to Expect in Your Flight Review
Each flight review is tailored to you — whether you’re flying single-engine, multi-engine, or holding additional ratings. Our instructors customise the session based on your experience and the aircraft involved, ensuring that every review is relevant, useful, and compliant.
Your review may include:
- Flight planning and pre-flight procedures
- Airspace awareness and radio communication
- In-flight manoeuvres and emergency procedures
- Multiple rating coverage (if applicable to aircraft)
- Debriefing and instructor sign-off
Training + Review = Stronger Pilot
While proficiency is the focus, we encourage incorporating training into your review. This approach not only ensures compliance with Part 61 Manual of Standards, but also helps you refine techniques and brush up on areas you haven’t used recently.
If needed, we can complete the review over multiple flights to suit your learning pace.
