Is my career at stake?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">What did I do to make my wrist hurt? After COVID restrictions had eased, I realised that it was from\u00a0<u>suddenly returning to sports<\/u>\u00a0that increased my risk of injury.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Not only that, but\u00a0<u>suddenly increasing the weight<\/u>\u00a0that I was not used to. That forces my wrist to be in\u00a0<em>awkward positions<\/em>\u00a0and then injury happens.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p4\"><strong>What did I do then<span class=\"s2\">?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Changing wrist positioning<\/b>\u00a0to stop my wrist from bending too much took most of the pain away. I could do push-ups on bars or dumbbells keeping the wrist straight.
